THE BIG LIST OF THINGS ANDREW IS WAITING FOR:
1.) My last day of work! I can't say how much I don't like my job. One of the next posts will explain this further. For now I will just say that I gave my boss the two-weeks notice on Saturday, telling him that the reason I am quitting is because I have decided to move to California. What I didn't tell him was how much I hated working with Jonny and Pablo every stupid morning of my life! They are a lot like Crabbe and Goyle from Harry Potter ("Expeliarmus!") except that their minds are a lot more crude and they don't have a Malfoy to keep them from doing stupid things like thinking of new ways to use the F word and burping loudly into the restaurant microphone while no customers are in. I am ready to never show up to this place again, and today I just kept mumbling to myself, "May 14th...May 14th...May 14th..." Good riddance, Nicolitalia Pizzeria!
2.) The Meet Joe Black Soundtrack I ordered from Amazon.com! What prompted this blog post was me returning from my apartment's mailbox empty-handed. It should've arrived by now! The score for this movie is INCREDIBLE, and I ordered the CD for seven bucks! Watch the movie, listen to the soundtrack, and then when you feel the urge to go and buy it, make sure you don't do what I did by refusing to pay the extra three bucks to expidite the shipping process. Otherwise you will be posting blog posts about how much you can't wait to check the mail tomorrow like I am. Pathetic, really.
3.) Abbey Road on the River! Did I tell you I like the Beatles? Well, this isn't quite like meeting Paul McCartney, but I will be spending an entire week selling t-shirts like crazy during this totally awesome Beatles fest at the end of May. They have about twenty or so different tribute bands come and play their own versions of amazing Beatles songs. I'M SO EXCITED!!!
4.) Jim and Pam to get married! Okay, I know this sounds totally lame, but it really kills me how Jim and Pam from The Office haven't gotten married yet. What are the crazy writers of the show doing to us all??? Honestly, it has dragged on long enough, don't you think? Okay, I sound like one of those weirdos who does nothing but watch Office re-runs, and this isn't even close to the truth (I watch House re-runs!). But anyone who is anyone who watches that show has to agree with me that the games have gone on long enough! It is time they just tie the stupid knot!
5.) Camp Tocaloma to return my call! The other day I had a phone interview with Erica Carlin of Camp Tocaloma. It all went well, and I pretty much rocked that interview. I was very proud. But she said she had other applicants to interview, and she said she would contact me by the end of next week (which is this week, actually) if I get the job. I NEED THIS JOB. So do me a favor and keep your fingers crossed, because this would be HUGE for me to land this job.
So there you go. My patience is thinning, and now you know why. Anyone else waiting for anything cool (or stupid)? Comment, por favor.
